All of The Cat's Pajamas are made of either 100% cotton flannel or 100% cotton poplin. Tank tops are 92% cotton and 8% spandex.
Poplin is a crisp, woven cotton that is similar to the fabric in men's dress shirts. Because it is a woven fabric, and not a knit, it is not stretchy. All fabric is not pre-washed, but is treated in the production process to give it a soft finish. It will also continue to get softer as it is washed.
FIT and STYLE
The Cat's Pajama sets have a long-sleeve, notch collar top and pants with elastic in the back and a drawstring in the front.
The pants can be cinched with the drawstring to your waist measurements, but then pulled off and on without untying due to the elastic back.
The capri set is similar, but has short sleeves and a slightly fuller, cropped pant.
The low-rise pant has a slimmer, low-rise fit and has elastic around the entire waist as well as a front drawstring.
The shorts have a full elastic waist and no drawstring.

All of The Cat's Pajamas/sleepwear is 100% cotton, machine washable and is not pre-shrunk. We recommend machine washing on cold and tumble drying on low. This will minimize shrinking, but regardless of the washing method, you will experience some shrinkage.
The waist measurements listed for the pants are actually to be determined by the wearer as the front of the pant has a drawstring.
We do not give inseam measurements on our pajama and capri sets because unlike traditional pants you may own, our pajama and capri set pants have a dropped crotch (yes, that is the unfortunate industry term) which means the fabric does not lay against your skin but is lower for a roomier fit.
The low-rise pant is a completely different fit as compared to our standard pajama pant. It has a lower rise and is much slimmer in the hips.
Most people consider our fit to be very roomy and generous.
